NotAuth
An end-to-end encrypted authenticator, explained without a single sentence you'd need a CS degree to parse.
NotAuth is Determination Labs' product: a cloud authenticator that encrypts your vault before it leaves your device, with keys derived from you instead of a password you'd inevitably forget. Genuinely interesting cryptography, and genuinely hard to explain on a landing page.
So the site is built as an argument rather than a feature list. Mission first, then four numbered features, then a step-by-step of how it actually works, then the FAQ that answers the thing everyone asks anyway ("so what happens if you get hacked?"). Each section is written to survive being read on its own, because nobody reads a landing page top to bottom.
The hard part wasn't the build, it was the copy. "Two separate locks" and "no encryption passwords to lose" took more drafts than the whole layout did. Once the words were right the design mostly got out of the way, which is usually the sign it's working.
