D&A Scaling
A Lugano dev shop that sells performance, so the site had to actually be fast. Awkward if not.
D&A Scaling builds high-performance sites and custom software for Swiss and international clients. When a company's whole pitch is Lighthouse scores and sub-second loads, their own site is the demo. There's nowhere to hide.
The structure follows how they actually sell: four services, a four-stage process from discovery to launch, the real tech stack laid out instead of vaguely gestured at, then pricing and an inquiry flow. The blog exists for SEO and it's built to stay maintainable, which means the editors can publish without opening a code editor or breaking the layout.
Performance got treated as a design constraint from the start rather than a cleanup pass at the end. That mostly meant saying no to things: no heavy carousel, no font stack with five weights, no animation library pulled in for one hover effect.
